For the first few years this website was mostly a side-effect of getting my own domain to have a permanent email address (prior to the rise of Gmail). I would have preferred a lastname.com style address, but that was taken in 1996 by a company that is selling email addresses to people who want a lastname.com address.
"Dexter Logic" was the domain I eventually chose. It is hopefully easy enough for people to understand and remember when I give them one of my email addresses. And, it might be catchy enough to work well as business site when I retire from my day job and start working for myself.
Special thanks to my coworkers that helped me through the process of acquiring a domain and getting it hosted.
This web site was originally hand-coded using text editors like nedit and gedit. The current version was made using Adobe Brackets.
